Oh Dear, Watford Borough Council are in the process of bringing in Veolia to run their cleansing services ‘to save money’. Why does WBC have to outsource services when other councils in the area do not? Why are WBC using a firm which sold off UK reservoirs to clear a ‘debt mountain’? The company is actually owned by Morgan Stanley and Prudential now apparently. What a mess!
Watford Borough Council have been LibDem for about 10 years now and I think they are losing the plot because they are still blaming Labour for the lack of funds when clearly the reason they have a funding shortfall at present after working to balance their books, is due to the decisions of their FibDem colleagues in Central Government. Why not tackle their Central Government MPs instead?
Lastly Veolia has a very varying reputation and is associated with ‘issues’ in Palestine.
